The mission of the 4C of the U.P.

To help parents find licensed childcare, to support and train childcare providers, and to advocate for the highest quality of childcare for parents, employers, and the general public throughout the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

4C of the U.P. offers:

• Information and referrals for child care
• Information and training for day care providers
• Resource libraries in several county offices
• Child Care Expulsion Prevention Services
• Advocacy for Children and Families

4C of the U.P. has provided childcare services to families and child care professionals for over twenty years. A national childcare resource and referral accreditation was awarded to 4C of the U.P. by Child Care Aware® Quality Assured.

4C of the U.P. is a part of a state-wide Michigan 4C Association network which links sixteen regional offices to local, state and national childcare resource and referral groups.

4C of the U.P. is a non-profit organization which receives funding from the Early Childhood Investment Corporation, from grants and contributions.

4C of the U.P. is a member agency of United Way of Marquette County.
