The Marquette and Alger counties Great Start Collaboratives, along with the UP Children's Coalition have arranged two Meet and Greets for local residents to meet with candidates running for election in November.
In Alger County the meet and greet is going to be held on Sept 3rd at the Falling Rock Cafe in Munising from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
In Marquette County on Sept. 10, you can meet the candidates from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Marquette Commons.
This is a great opportunity to meet the candidates and let them know what is important to you and your family. |
With the statewide Sandbox Party Convention over, the Western UP has decided to bring this event home to the Upper Peninsula.
Sept. 20,2010 12p.m. - 1 p.m. Gogebic/Ontonagon ISD 202 Elm Street Bergland , MI
Come Meet and Greet the candidates at this nonpolitical, nonpartisan event focused on young children. State and local candidates have been invited to attend and many have already confirmed attendance.
We would love to have as many families and agencies attend this event. There will be a kids corner, give-a-aways and fun for the family.
