Becoming a New Provider

Anyone in the State of Michigan that cares for unrelated children in their home for more than 4 weeks in a year is required to have a license.

You will need to begin by going online to obtain the correct licensing application packet @ www.michigan.gov/childcare or follow the correct links below for your facility.  Michigan DHS offices no longer give out or mail applications. This is currently the only way to obtain a license application.
