Providers
The Great Start Regional Resource Center is committed to meeting the needs of Child Care Providers. Services and Support Offered:
-
Referral/Database Support - Providers can now update their personal information on the online Great Start CONNECT database. This database is state-wide and will be used by parents looking for licensed/registered child care. A parent will submit the ages of their children and the hours of care they are seeking plus any specific preference such as a provider who accepts DHS subsidy, or has part time hours, or takes a special needs child, etc. The provider profile that a parent sees will include: provider name, business name, license #, address, phone number, days of care, hours of care, the age range of children accepted, and a link to map the location. A parent is advised the information is for referral purposes only and a provider is not endorsed or recommended by the ECIC.
