  • Referral/Database Support - Any provider that is in active status with the 4C of the U.P. will be placed on the 4C of the U.P.'s Provider Database and will be eligible to be placed on 4C Client Referral lists. Referrals for providers showing openings that meet client's needs will be given priority on the referral list. Providers can now update their information for the 4C database online. Click on "Update Form" on the right.
  • Resource Library - Resource Libraries are available to all providers who are partnered with the 4C of the U.P. The membership process includes filling out a membership application and paying the fee associated with the type of membership being applied for (individual, corporate/group, or student). Applications can be obtained from any of the 4C of the U.P. offices.
  • Recruitment of Potential Providers - Due to the 4C of the U.P.'s commitment to meeting child care needs, all 4C Child Care Specialists are given the task of recruiting child care providers to meet each specific community's needs. Throughout the State of Michigan, the need for care is most often expressed for infants and clients looking for care for non-traditional work schedules (including evenings, weekends, and overnight care).
  • Licensing Support - Licensing Support Services are provided to anyone applying for a child care license or licensed/registered providers.
  • Professional Development - Licensed/Registered Providers will be informed of training that is available through the 4C of the U.P. If a Child Care Specialist is unable to assist the provider; the Specialist will direct the provider to a resource where the help may be found.
